Stay-at-Home State

For the record, late this afternoon, Governor Newsom declared the entire state of California a “stay-at-home” state. This means we’re allowed out of our homes for essential purposes only — grocery store, doctor, gas station, take out food. It also includes, fortunately, taking one’s self for a good long walk… in this case, around the arboretum.

Love the pics! I would like to share Pastor Vicki’s Prayer for a Pandemic (with her permission, of course), and want to give her credit. What is her full name and is she currently pastoring a church and if so which one. Thanks. We are enjoying the blog.

I went back to Vicki’s page to her original post. She got it from a woman named Andrea, who then chimed in and said she didn’t write it, “got it from a friend.” So… I don’t know whom to credit! Vicki is pastoring a church in Detroit (Episcopal Diocese). She’s great to follow on FB! (Vicki Hesse). Thanks!
