Dodger Blue

A few things to notice:
– The Detroit Tigers, on their first at bat, got a homerun. Not a great way for the Dodgers to start the game… they never caught up.
– It’s a really sunny, pretty day, this 2nd official day of summer! So digging it.
– We have great seats. We’re at field level, first row behind those box seats. It was a light crowd, so a) we had a clear view for the most part, right to the grass, and b) we could put our feet up.
– I just happen to have a pair of Dodger Blue converse sneakers, which I also just happened to bring along on this road trip to LA. How ’bout that? It did not go un-noticed.

Batter batter batter……
The boys surprised me on Father’s Day and they took me, Sally, Deborah and Zac’s girlfriend to A’s vs. Giants game in Oakland. The crowd was amazing. Lots of interleague, Giant/A’s couples. Lots of chanting back and forth, “Let’s Go Giants! Let’s Go Oakland!”. Good vibes, although a bit drunken from the 7th on, at least in the bleachers where we were.

It was very drunken where we were, too. Saw security come down and haul out one guy (very roughly) and hover around a few others. Frat boy types and their beer… ever thus. Eye opening for Peter. Still, not too much a distraction. Until he got taken away, he was pretty entertaining, at least.
I saw that Z&A had surprised you (on Flickr). Nice!! Sweet boys.
